Privacy Policy

Last updated 6 October 2026

This policy explains what personal data the Stack Tools UK app and website (“the app”) collect, why, and the choices you have. The app is run by Neo Network (neonetwork.vip), which is the data controller. You can contact us about privacy at any time at info@neonetwork.vip.

The short version

  • You need an account to use the app (7 days free, then a monthly subscription). We keep only what we need to run it.
  • We collect personal data when you create an account, subscribe, enter a competition or send a dealer an enquiry.
  • The app has no adverts, no advertising ID and no third-party tracking, and we never sell your data.
  • We count, anonymously, which screens are used and for how long, so we can improve the app. You can switch this off below.

What we collect and why

Competition entries. Your name and email address, your confirmation that you are 18 or over and accept the competition terms, and whether you agree to Neo Network emailing you. We use this to run the draw, prevent duplicate entries, contact winners and, only if you agreed, send you Neo Network emails. Legal basis: performing the competition you entered, and your consent for marketing emails.

Dealer enquiries. When you tap Sell on a dealer, the form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, the item and quantity, and your message. We store it and pass it to the dealer you chose, with your consent, so they can reply to you. Legal basis: your consent and taking steps at your request.

Accounts. When you create an account or sign in with Google, we hold your name, email address and account role. Passwords are handled by our hosting provider and are never visible to us. Legal basis: providing the account you asked for.

Subscription and payments. We record your free trial dates, subscription status and renewal date, and for each payment the amount, date, result and the payment provider’s reference. Your card details are entered on, and kept by, our card payment provider (Cashflows); we never see or store your full card number. We use this to take your monthly payment, give you access and keep the records the law requires. Legal basis: performing your subscription contract and our legal obligations.

Technical data. Like any online service, our hosting provider processes your IP address and basic device and browser information to deliver the app, keep it secure and fix faults. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure, working service.

Stored only on your device. Your converter favourites and view, and your Neo Foundry ranks and badges are saved in your device’s local storage. They are never sent to us, and you can clear them by clearing the app’s data. If you are signed in, the XP you earn in Neo Foundry, your Neo Ticket balance and history, your date of birth (to confirm you are 18 or over) and any break or closure settings are stored with your account so the prize draw can run fairly.

Anonymous usage statistics. To see which parts of the app are useful and what to improve, the app records which screens are opened, how long they are on screen, how often the app is used, the type of device (Android app, iPhone app or web) and a few key actions (such as a Foundry smelt, a prize draw entry or a certificate check). Each phone or browser gets a random id; we do not store your name, email or IP address with these statistics, and they are never shared with other companies or used for advertising. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the app. You can switch this off at any time below or in My account.

Anonymous usage statistics

Helps us improve the app by counting which screens are used and for how long. No names or emails, and nothing is shared with other companies.

Feedback. If you send feedback from My account, we store your message, the type and part of the app you chose, and your device type. We do not store your name or email with it; a one-way scrambled code is kept only to stop spam. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in improving the app.

The tools themselves (calculator, charts, converter, certificate check and guide) do not collect personal data. Prices and exchange rates are fetched by our servers from third-party data sources; no personal data is sent to them. Certificate Check opens the grading companies’ own websites, which have their own privacy policies.

Who we share it with

We only share personal data with organisations that help us run the app, and only what they need to do that job:

  • Hosting and technology providers that run the app, its database and its servers on our behalf.
  • Payment and subscription providers, including card payment processors and app stores, to take payments and manage subscriptions.
  • Sign-in providers, only if you choose to sign in with an account you already have elsewhere.
  • Dealers you choose to contact, for dealer enquiries only. Dealers are independent businesses responsible for how they use your enquiry.
  • Authorities and professional advisers, where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.

We never sell your personal data or share it for advertising.

Some of these providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, they use appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum or Standard Contractual Clauses.

How long we keep it

  • Competition entries: up to 12 months after the draw, then deleted. Winners’ details may be kept longer where needed for prize records.
  • Dealer enquiries: up to 12 months after they are sent.
  • Accounts: until you delete your account or ask us to.
  • Marketing consent: until you unsubscribe or ask us to stop.
  • Anonymous usage statistics: up to 24 months.

Deleting your account and data

To delete your account, or any competition entry or dealer enquiry you have sent, email info@neonetwork.vip from the email address you used, with the subject “Delete my data”. We will delete your account and the related personal data within 30 days and confirm by email. We may keep a minimal record where the law requires it (for example, prize records).

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct, delete or move your data, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email info@neonetwork.vip and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS), and competition entries, enquiries and dealer settings can only be viewed by Neo Network administrators.

Children

The app is not aimed at children under 13. Competitions are only open to people aged 18 or over. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The date at the top shows when it was last updated, and important changes will be highlighted in the app.
